Description of the project

The project is designed for implementation in a group of students grades 5-6 and is aimed not only at mastering the skills of developing the character ScratchDuino, but also on developing the skills of constructive cooperation in the group of developers. A group of students develops a series of mini-games with recurring characters. One of these characters is Ghost (a negative character that interferes with the performance of the game task). Participants are required to jointly develop recommendations for creating a character image, so that one of the students then implements the character on Scratch. The main results of the project implementation should be:

  • the ability to communicate with peers, to understand their creative intentions prior to their implementation;
  • the ability to express creative intent in the form of a system consisting of graphic and program units;
  • formation of information and algorithmic culture.

Practical results of the development are presented in the projects of mini-games.
